Waimarie Farm Sheba

BLACK HUACAYA Sheba is a real pleasure to have in the herd. She is easy to handle and is one of those animals that doesn’t make a fuss. She has produced some lovely cria over the years – 4 blacks, 3 medium browns and roan. She is a very attentive mother – She often puts her leg as far back as she can to ensure easy access to the milk bar for the cria. Her latest cria (a roan female) is simple outstanding. She doesn’t produce a lot of fleece, but what she does produce is very fine. While she is getting on in years, she would be a great addition for those wanting to produce blacks as she is packed full of black on both her dam and sire’s sides. Sheba is getting on in years, but she does have a few more cria left in her and is looking for a loving home that will take good care of her. She is at the stage where you would only mate her every second year (hence the reduced price).
